If you have trouble connecting to a Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth device on your Android smartphone or tablet, it may be time to reset your network settings. If you’re using a device that runs “stock” for Android (8.1 Oreo or later), it means that you’re probably using the Google-issued Android interface (or something very similar) and you should follow the steps below to reset your network settings.
Steps to Reset Android Network Settings
Open Settings for your Android smartphone.
On the Settings page, scroll down and tap the system.’
On the System page, scroll down and tap the ‘Reset’ option.
Click the ‘Reset Network Settings’ option.
On the confirmation page, click the ‘Reset Network Settings’ option again.
