vivo Launches Y21 in Kenya

 vivo has unveiled its latest Y-series model the vivo Y21, a mid-range phone and successor to its vivo Y20 and vivo Y19 smartphones in a move to meet the growing demand of affordable midrange smartphones in the Kenyan market.

The new vivo Y21 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology charging up to 34 percent in just 30 minutes and having 8.0 mm sleek design with a 2.5D flat, it is a piece of lightweight tech that offers a premium and comfortable hold.

Sporting a 6.51 – inch HD Plus Display (1600 by720) it carries MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with 4GB RAM which comes with an extended 1GB RAM. This is an upgraded function to make the device faster and smoother when handling heavy operations such as playing games and multitasking.

Priced at 16,999 Ksh, the device aims to drive smartphone affordability inclusion in the country and to the SME and the youths. According to the Brand Manager Mr. James Irungu, the brand seeks to bring quality products with fast focusing speed for all market.

Additionally, the vivo Y21 will be running on Android version 11 powered by vivo’s Funtouch OS 11.1. For the camera, it will spot a front 8MP for selfies and a dual-camera 13MP + 2MP which is supported by a wide range of features, including Face Beauty, Filters, and Bokeh. Every shot is a masterpiece.
