Google invited us to an event last night to learn more about the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, a new smartphone powered by Google Tensor. However, the press conference was also an occasion for the Manufacturer to talk about Android 12 and confirm that it will be available on earlier Pixels. These “old” devices, like the spanking new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which were just announced Yesterday, take benefit of all of the new features released with Android 12. They’ll start with Material You, the mobile operating system’s new visual identity. By the end of the year, Google has promised that more native apps will be ported to Material You. The goal is to bring everything together to standardize the look of Pixel smartphones’ home screens.
