The most recent Google Photos update appears to be removing a feature that Pixel 6 customers adore. The Magic Eraser can not be found currently in the smartphone

Google’s new Pixel 6 smartphones, which have been available for a few days, clearly prioritize photography, with the added advantage of a much-appreciated new tool: the Magic Eraser. The latter allows you to and neatly erase items from a snapshot.

However, some users have reported that the Magic Eraser has vanished since Google Photos 5.67 was released. Google has verified the existence of a bug and is currently working on a patch that will be released soon.

Google explains that the issue does not affect all Pixel 6 owners and that just a tiny percentage of them have lost access to the coveted eraser. Patience is required if you are one of those who can no longer wow their pals with the Pixel 6 Magic Eraser.
