Have you ever wondered how the future would look if you took part in shaping the technological aspects that come with it? Recently, a staged patent depicts a MacBook with an Apple Pencil tray located just above the keyboard. This might suggest that Apple is on the verge of merging its Apple pencils with its laptops very soon.

On the other hand, Sarang Sheth, a renowned designer, took advantage of this and came up with a realistic idea whereby he used the old MacBook Pro with Touch Bar for his experiment. In this case, the OLED touch screen strip is lacking. The Apple Pencil is put into a hollow in the spot where the Touch bar is normally positioned in the idea.

From Sheth’s design, the Apple pencil takes over the function Keys horizontally, suggesting those equivalent locations on the pen’s surface should be touch-capable. The chances of implementing the design to life are very narrow

Via the Wall Street Journal, the Cupertino firm intends to make a clear contrast between product categories, with the iPad getting a touchscreen and Apple Pencil. Still, the Mac is geared for indirect input.
