OPPO’s first folding smartphone will be released in December, judging from a portion of the technical sheet that has been leaked online. Among the many features that stand out is its screen. The latest data from GizmoChina via Digital Chat Station provides us with some fascinating data regarding the Chinese manufacturer’s folding smartphone.
The leaker claims that OPPO’s proposal would be based on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3’s concept. A smartphone that, when opened like a book, transforms into a tablet. The front screen should only have a 60 Hz refresh rate when seen in viewed in smartphone mode. The front camera will be housed in a center punch. Its screen should be a 7.8 or 8-inch screen when unfolded. For this case, an AMOLED panel (LTPO type )will be available, with a customizable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In the upper left corner, the camera would be installed.
According to speculations, this OPPO folding phone will have a Sony IMX766 wide-angle sensor with 50 megapixels, a Sony IMX481 16 megapixel, and a Samsung ISOCELL S5K3M5 12 megapixel camera. It has a big 32-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Finally, and this comes as no surprise, the phone will run ColorOS and be based on Android 11 at launch.
