The next series of iPhones will be offered without a SIM card shortly

As per information from a popular Brazillian Blog website, the iPhone 15 may soon be delivered without having a SIM card. This comes after the previous series of iPhones from the Cupertino manufacturer come without a jack and a charger in the Box.

A few years down the line, no one believed that Apple would remove the headphone jack from its iPhone series of smartphones. Later, the American firm ended expectations by eliminating the charging pad from iPhone packaging. What will stop Apple from putting an end to the actual SIM card seen in the current models?

Our Source claims that the iPhone 15 Pro will be the first iPhone to do away with the SIM card. For the user, an eSIM, or a digital card embedded inside the mobile phone that is activated with its operator, will be required. MacRumors already claims that Apple has already told the major American and worldwide carriers to prepare for the arrival of an iPhone that is only compatible with eSIM as early as the second quarter of 2022.

For the record, you may utilize the dual SIM option on the new iPhone 13 with either two active eSIMs or a nano-SIM and an eSIM. The dual SIM option on the iPhone 12, 11, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR enables you to utilize both a nano-SIM and an eSIM.
