Ghanaian startups are invited to apply for the BetaRaise programme, which is designed to help first-time founders go from launching a beta product to raising their first pre-seed investment round in the shortest period possible.
BetaRaise, organised by ImpactHub Accra, takes a no-frills approach to supporting first-time founders with no prior experience raising funds.
The structure of the service is designed to help founders build a solid team, tighten up their beta rollout plan, acquire users and use strong beta numbers to close a pre-seed round of $100K+.
The first cohort is focused on ventures in:
- Urban Food Systems
- Mass-Market Distribution
- Green Energy & E-Mobility
- Gig Economy
- Fintech
Founders will partner with BetaRaise’s network of pre-seed VCs to close a $100k+ deal, with Betaraise providing:
- Support with Delaware incorporation
- Support with building complete data room for investor engagement
- Support with negotiating and managing the close of your pre-seed round with investors in the BetaRaise network.
BetaRaise support is over a 3-month period (May – August) with an option to extend.Ten startups will be selected to join the cohort, with applications open here.
