Ghanaian startups are invited to apply for the BetaRaise programme, which is designed to help first-time founders go from launching a beta product to raising their first pre-seed investment round in the shortest period possible.

BetaRaise, organised by ImpactHub Accra, takes a no-frills approach to supporting first-time founders with no prior experience raising funds.

The structure of the service is designed to help founders build a solid team, tighten up their beta rollout plan, acquire users and use strong beta numbers to close a pre-seed round of $100K+.

The first cohort is focused on ventures in:

  • Urban Food Systems
  • Mass-Market Distribution
  • Green Energy & E-Mobility
  • Gig Economy
  • Fintech

Founders will partner with BetaRaise’s network of pre-seed VCs to close a $100k+ deal, with Betaraise providing:

  • Support with Delaware incorporation
  • Support with building complete data room for investor engagement
  • Support with negotiating and managing the close of your pre-seed round with investors in the BetaRaise network.

BetaRaise support is over a 3-month period (May – August) with an option to extend.Ten startups will be selected to join the cohort, with applications open here.
