A month after, Nothing made some cautious disclosures regarding its expected future smartphone. The company is attempting the first entry into the Android ecosystem with its launcher Nothing OS.
Nothing’s first launcher for Android devices is available in Beta mode as of the writing of this article and can be found in the Google Playstore. To have it on your smartphone, navigate to your mobile settings>>home screen menu >>application launcher option, and choose Nothing OS as the default launcher.
To begin with, only the Samsung Galaxy S21 and S22 and the Google Pixel 5 and 6 are compatible with the interface experience provided by Nothing. Soon, the OnePlus models will be supported.
Nothing draws attention to its clock and weather widgets to get people to test out its UI. Its folder management seems to be another of its key advantages, with the ability to customize the size of each folder individually and the size of the program icons included therein. The most frequently used applications are shown first in the folder.
