Before the year ends, the South Korean manufacturer will publicize its next range of foldable smartphones. One of the next components that stands out with Samsung Foldable gadgets is its performance. Here is what has become a reference for us after learning about its design a few days ago.

In the coming days, Qualcomm is expected to announce its new chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1+. As usual, the race of which smartphone manufacturer gets the newest processor is still on, and what sounds like at the moment it is Galaxy Z Flip 4 who will likely win this race.

The manufacturer should abandon the integrated Exynos chip, as we did with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 last year. To summarize, the foldable darlings will benefit from the currency exchange because Qualcomm chips are more energy-efficient than their Samsung counterparts.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 + has an 8-core CPU (1x 3.19 GHz; 3x 2.75 GHz; 4x 1.80 GHz) built on a 4 nm technology, far from the fastest on the Android smartphone market. He also returned with a rather high Geekbench score: 1277 points on single-core and 3642 points on multicore.

The Apple A15 Bionic, on the other hand, continues to outperform the identical test regimen. To give just one example, the 2022 iPhone of the year received 1721 points for a single core and 4603 points for a multicore. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to feature the same CPU as the Flip but with additional RAM than the Flip’s 8 GB.
