Oneplus wants to quickly conquer all the global markets with the launch of its two Nord smartphones. It is the Mid-range market that has been targeted first.
The manufacturer had previously avoided releasing non-premium smartphones, but they have decided to surprise everyone. The brand, like its rivals, for example, Xiaomi, Vivo and Samsung, is now launching a model for each market category. The OnePlus Nord 2T and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite are the latest additions to the company’s lineup.
Let us see what each of them carries
OnePlus Nord 2T
The OnePlus Nord 2T is a direct descendant of the OnePlus Nord 2. It has a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
The inner mechanics have been enhanced with an A MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor against the Dimensity 1200 in the Nord 2 version. To ensure modest autonomy, we have a 4500 mAh with a charging power of up to 80W, owing to the fast speed of the OPPO parent company’s SuperVOOC technology.
For the Photography aspect, we have a primary Sony IMX766 sensor with 50 MP and f/1.8 aperture joined by an ultra-wide-angle sensor with 8 MP and f/2.2 aperture and a monochrome sensor with 2 MP and f/2.2 aperture. The OnePlus Nord 2T will be available in green and black starting May 24, 2022. The 8/128 GB model costs 429 euros, while the 12/256 GB model costs 529 euros.

The second variant showcased by OnePlus is none other than the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The model has a 6.59-inch LCD with 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Unlike the OnePlus Nord 2T, which has a fingerprint reader built into the screen, this one has a scanner built into the ignition button.
It has a more powerful battery than its sibling, with a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports a charging power of 33 W. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 SoC, with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage capacity. A 64 MP primary sensor, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro sensor make up the picture section; hence there is no super wide angle on this model. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be available starting May 24 for 319 euros.
