The Always-On display would be reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro with iOS 16

The WWDC event started a few days ago, and it will run-up to June 10th 2022. From the Kick-off event on June 6th from 20hrs Kenyan time, Apple used its annual event to deliver a slew of several Software announcements. If the iOS 16 was delivered by the Manufacturer, and since its unveiling, it has taken advantage of the chance to unveil itself. Apple has not yet divulged all of its secrets to us.

Mark Gurman, a well-known writer from Bloomberg, mentions that the “Always On” display should have made its debut on the iPhone 13 Pro, but the iPhone 14 Pro should be fitted with these particular features.

  As of the writing of this artic;e Apple has allowed developers to play around with the next version of iOS. Although Apple has not yet confirmed the possibility of an “Always On” option in future iPhones, the 9to5Mac website has identified many references to the technology in the iOS 16 code, implying that its arrival is now just a matter of time.

The media noticed the existence of three new frameworks concerning the backlight of Apple’s smartphone. This would provide a continuous screen display on iOS 16 while using very little power.

Everything implies, on the other hand, that this display will be reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max variants, which will benefit from panels with variable refresh rates that can swing from 1 Hz to 120 Hz. The iPhone 13 Pro, on the other hand, was limited to a maximum frequency of 10 Hz.
