Amazon is now allowing buyers to try on their future shoes from the comfort of their own homes. The e-commerce behemoth wants to make online fashion purchases easier for its consumers, so it’s launching its Virtual Try-On for Shoe feature.

Customers may try on and inspect a pair of shoes from all angles before making a purchase, all from the comfort of their own home or while on the road, thanks to an engaging mobile experience.

The Virtual Try-On for Shoe feature, which is currently only accessible on iOS in the United States and Canada, enables you to try hundreds of footwear from companies including Adidas, Reebok, Puma, Lacoste, Asics, and New Balance.

The procedure is simple: position your feet with your smartphone’s picture sensor after choosing a pair of shoes. The shoes are subsequently shod (virtually understood) at the user’s feet, where they can be seen from all sides.

Customers may easily modify the color of their chosen shoes by cycling through the carousel’s choices without leaving the experience. Remember that Amazon is no stranger to augmented reality since the company released a similar feature in 2017 to locate an item in the home.
