e-sim will soon support the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip 3

e-sim support is increasingly becoming available on a larger number of models. It will be available for the first time in the United States on Samsung’s folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip 3.

The service should be created in collaboration with telecom carriers, who should also enable the esim service to be activated. We’re referring to the fact that in order to use the Esim service, you don’t need a real overlay card; instead, a “virtual” one is generated programmatically in the smartphone.

But one thing is certain: this service will be available on an increasing number of handsets. We anticipate that, in the not-too-distant future, a growing number of Android smartphones, including, of course, the flagship model, will be equipped with this intriguing feature.

Of course, in addition to Esim, a service with two sims will be offered, meaning that a smartphone might conceivably have three numbers – two on real cards and one on a virtual card.

In July 2022, this service should be accessible for smartphones in the United States on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. We anticipate it becoming available in Africa very soon.

We know that our local telecom carriers here in Kenya have been testing the e-sim service for some time, so it’s just a matter of time until we see the first such services.
