The news came when Donda teased a vehicle through a shadowy image. The car in the illustration comes with enormous wheels on both ends, leaving no room for overhangs. The post caption states, “Conceptualized Designed Manufactured In The United States Amen.”

Kayne West seems to be the very first person to claim that cars should be made from foam. According to an announcement accompanied by the teaser, Steven Smith, a designer of sneakers, has been named the director of Donda Industrial Design by West, who will apparently be producing the foam vehicle.

Smith has a wealth of experience in the shoe business and has created many iconic pieces. He began his career in 1986 as a designer for New Balance before moving on to work for numerous companies, including Adidas, Reebok, Fila, and Nike, building up his portfolio of enduring footwear designs.

The Yeezy line and his current position as the head of Donda Industrial Design were Smith and Kanye’s most recent collaborations. At Donda, he will work on more than just footwear, including furniture, automobiles, and other things.
