Samsung unveiled its most recent goodies at its unpacked event 2022 yesterday evening. If you missed the event, you could get the recap here. The novelties presented include the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro after a year of absence in the tech space. The builds 2 pro variant integrates the latest Technology, including the new SSC Hi-Fi codec allowing 24-bit wireless transmission.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro
They are the successors of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, launched in January 2021. The main area of interest that this swireless headphones bring is the 24-bit wireless transmission
The SSC Hi-Fi codec is responsible for the Hi-Fi transmission of sound. The South Korean manufacturer further claims that with this codec, it is possible to achieve up to 256 times more sound data with the Hi-Fi SSC than with destructive codecs such as AAC or SBC.In addition, this codec only works with Samsung smartphones equipped with at least version 4 of One UI.
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is also equipped with touch surfaces for volume control and natively integrates Google Assistant. They are also compatible with 360 audio and virtualization in 5.1 or 7.1 if you listen to or watch consistent content. There is also the active noise reduction functionality thanks to three dedicated microphones per earphone. Samsung Says thatt there is a reduced level of up to 33 dB on specific frequencies.
As for the Autonomy part, you will get up to 5 hrs of use of the headphones alone with active noise reduction and up to 18 hours thanks to the 515 mAh battery in the case. Without active noise reduction, the battery life can then increase to 8 hours with the headphones alone and 29 hours with the case’s charging
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is in three colors: black, purple, and white. They are displayed for 229 euros(Ksh 28,158.75) and, on the occasion of the launch, Samsung offers an offer a 15 W Duo wireless charger.
