Samsung is hands-on to get One UI 5.0 for a few of their Galaxy devices and has established the devices that will get access to Android 13. So far a few Members have been able to get access to the new update in the past few weeks to get a taste of the firmware.
Customers who had not joined the beta program will have to wait a little longer before experiencing the latest version of the Android.
The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 lineups, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Fold 4, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Flip 4 will be the first to gain access to the stable version of Android 13-based One UI 5.0. As the flagship phones, they have been prioritized for the stable firmware update, not forgetting the others.
Samsung has also revealed plans of releasing the One UI 5.0 to Galaxy A53 customers before 2023. The Galaxy A5x series is one of Samsung’s most successful mid-range offerings which was released into the market in March 2022.
The lineup came with the promise of Android OS upgrades for four years. The Galaxy A53 retailed with Android 12-based One UI 4.1, making the upcoming One UI 5.0 its first major firmware upgrade.
So far the Galaxy A53 will be the only non-flagship Samsung phone to receive Android 13 and One UI 5.0 before 2023. However, more Galaxy phones may be added to the One UI 5.0 queue this year.
