News from MacRumors based on information from Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young insinuates that the next lineup of iPhone SE will sport a 6.1-inch LCD with a notch.
The new release of the iPhone SE is expected to have a similar model to that of the iPhone XR. It is not clear whether the smartphone will have the Face ID feature when it comes out in 2024, according to Ross Young
This renders the front camera notch a minority as it does not have to fit in the TrueDepth camera components. It may however have a side-mounted Touch ID scanner for the purpose of minimizing costs.
