Xiaomi is in the works to unveil the Redmi Note 12 series to the Chinese market. Leaked information however suggests that the global version of Note 12 will have different specs to the China version.
Some of the features of the China version include a MediaTek chipset of Dimensity 1080 and a 200 MP main camera on one of the major models. The leaked info by an Indian insider on Twitter reveals the global version may have a different chipset and a new design.
The debut of the new series in the global scene is speculated to be in the first quarter of 2023. The smartphone will however launch in China on the 27 of October.
