Honor Magic 5 to Come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 6.81” Display

Honor’s new smartphones, Magic 5 and 5 Pro are set for release on 23rd November with BOE quad-curved screens. The phones will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset according to info leaked by Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

The display will be in two different cuts with the Magic 5 having 6.78″ OLED screen of 1.5K resolution while the 5 Pro will be slightly larger with 6.81″ and a 2K + resolution.

The main camera will have an AON sensor of 50 MP with ISP based on artificial intelligence. The selfie camera of Magic 5 Pro will have a 13MP sensor with support for the latest generation facial scan.

The phone will hit the Chinese market in early 2023 at a starting price of €899.
