Elon Musk Affirms That The Twitter Blue Subscription Will Restart On November 29th

Twitter is bringing on board a second gray check mark for accounts verified to be credible and representing a public figure or organization. The VP of Twitter and head of the Blue subscription project, Esther Crawford, the “Official” label will be used to distinguish between subscribers and true verified accounts.

She noted in a tweet that the Official label was not for sale and that not all accounts that had the Blue check before to today would immediately receive the new label.

“…Accounts that will receive it include government accounts, commercial companies, business partners, major media outlets, publishers, and some public figures”. She wrote.

The decision is not final as the company will continue to experiment with different account types.
