Hisense Unveils Mini-LED TV Lines For 2023

Chinese manufacturer Hisense has announced four series of Mini-LED TVs ahead of CES 2023, with the U8K, U7K, U6K, and ULED X series set to be released. The ULED X series, which Hisense claims is “the best LED TV available,” features over 20,000 Mini-LEDs and 5,000 local dimming zones for a peak brightness of 2,500 cd/m².

It will be available in 65 and 85-inch models and includes the latest VIDAA U7 interface, IMAX Enhanced image technology, Filmmaker Mode, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ Adaptive, AMD Freesync Premium certification, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The ULED X series is set to be released in the summer of 2023 at an estimated price of 4,299 euros.

The U6K series, which will be available in diagonals ranging from 50 to 85 inches at a starting price below $500, includes a 60 Hz panel with VRR, Dolby Vision, and a low latency game mode. The U7K series is geared towards gaming, with a 144 Hz panel, Game Mode Pro, and features such as ALLM and FreeSync Premium Pro.

The U8K range focuses on performance, with doubled local dimming zones and a peak brightness of up to 1,500 cd/m². It also includes a smooth gaming experience with a 144 Hz panel and will be available in diagonals from 55 to 85 inches.
