What is a hand truck?

Sellers will sometimes take off the plastic sheeting to reveal the wood underneath so it is important to check out the packaging as well! While not ideal, using older pallets is okay because you can easily cut down the top layer to match your current plastic ones.

The most common plastic pallet sizes are 5 feet, 6 feet, and 9 feet long. These plastic pallets come in either half or full size depending on how many lanes you have to place them in.
A half sized plastic pallet is great if you just need one lane of space where you can organize your inventory or store products. A full-sized plastic pallet is ideal if you have a lot of room so that you can expand your business.
The cost difference between a half and full size plastic pallet is about $30 more expensive for the longer length. It depends on what size container you want!
There are some things to consider when choosing the right size plastic pallet for your business. Plastic pallet depth

This type of plastic pallet is usually referred to as an ISO box because it meets international standards. These types of pallets are great because they can be easily transported and re-used.
However, there are times when having a very thin surface coating may not be ideal. That is why some plastic pallet sizes exist that have thicker layers of material. An example of this would be a twelve foot long container with a 4′ thick layer of material.
This kind of plastic pallet is almost always used for shipping large items such as furniture or appliances. Because these containers stay longer than average ones, they give you more chances to reuse them.
Plastic pallet rips
More and more people are using plastic pallets as shelf/storage units or to create new shelves. While they are great, there is a downside to them. They can be expensive to buy and even cheaper to recycle.
Plastic pallets that are not recycled end up in landfills where they take hundreds of years to break down. The chemicals in this material remain stable until it gets mixed with water, then it breaks down into other products.
This process takes a long time and much energy, which makes the plastic harder to re-use later. It also contributes to air and soil pollution because most of these materials get burned during recycling.

Plastic pallet buckles

The best way to determine the right size buckle tab for your organization needs is by testing one out!
You can go into a home supply store or grocery store and look through their organized merchandise sections to find something with a lid. There may be small markers, paper goods, cleaning products — whatever they seem like they could use a separate container for.
Take a close look at these items and see if there are any strap-type dividers attached to them. If so, how many there are and what size they are determines whether this product set already has the space it needs, or if more divider straps are needed.
Plastic pallet straps
Another common way to re-purpose plastic pallets is to use them as plastic pallet straps. These are long pieces of plastic that connect two separate parts of a crate or box together. For example, if you have a crate with rounded corners, there may be one part that has flat sides. To make it close tightly, you need a strap that can fit over both areas.

Some people also add these plastic strapping strips onto old broken or discarded crates to create new crates. This is called recycling plastic lumber! Plastic pallet rings
