TECNO launched the Spark 10 series in Kenya targeting the youthful Kenyan youths, the working class and university students who prefer impressive camera features.
We will be doing a review of the TECNO Spark 10 Pro device and here are a few picks before we delve in. the Pro model is an intriguing entry level smartphone that features 50MP camera, bigger storage capacity, a G88 gaming processor and a sleek design for users who are always on the look for a powerful but affordable devices.
I don’t know if white is too attractive but the first thing you will notice on the on the TECNO Spark Pro is its design. If features a dual glass build with an all matt finish and an LCD Screen.

Design and Display
The phone features an enormous display of 6.8 inches and a screen resolution of 1080p with a 90Hz refresh rate. Comes in an almost similar design as its predecessor the Spark 9 Pro. It comes in an upgraded design with dimensions of 168.4 x 76.2 x 8.4mm and weighs around 208 grams . It is built with a glass front, plastic frame, and glass back, this is the first ever glass and Magic Skin Back panel design on the Spark line-up . It’s pearl white color is pleasing to the eyes and the starry glass material also enhances the feel.
From a distance, it gives an iPhone kind of premium look that case class in terms of design. The display screen is ideal for media consumption, business productivity, photography and videography.
The phone also features a stereo earphone jack, charging port and speaker at the bottom panel. On the sides, we have the sim tray on the upper left. On your right, we have three buttons, Tecno separated the volume buttons so you can adjust and reduce the volume with the upper buttons and power the phone with the lower button.
I’m surprised it comes with the headphone jack and a pair of earphones too. Most phone makers are ditching this option. Especially for the younger generation, having these specs in place is a good startegy to attract the GenZ who love convenience.
Camera
TECNO Spark 10 Pro is equipped with a Tripple AI Camera. on the rear panel, we have a 50 MP (wide) + other unspecified cameras lenses that allow you to enable Dual-LED flash. The front camera has an almost invisible 32 MP (wide) ultra clear (glowing selfie sensor) with a LED flash. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint which also acts as the power button.
We did a camera trial with phone, we managed to capture some good photos using the AI camera lens.
Battery and Performance
The phone is powered by Mediatek Helio G88 Octa-core processor and Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 13 and the HIOS 12.6 operating system. The 8-core G88 gaming chip is supercharged by the Game turbo algorithm for large scale gaming.
The smartphone is fueled by a Non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery + 18W fast charging technology to allow users charge phones in such a short time. On full charge, the battery lasts for a full day without having to back up . Tecno Spark 10 Pro comes in two colors Starry Black and Pearl White. It features USB, FM radio, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.0. The device is packed with 8+8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage enough for all your media storage and personal use as well as gear up device performance. It also comes with pre-installed apps.

Overall, Spark10 Pro is a good phone entry level phone. besides the good features, it comes it an attractive look and finish you value a fancy yet powerful specs. TECNO delivered on the battery capabilities and a huge space. The only downside is the large display screen especially for users who value smaller handsets.
