Company Unveils Semi-Transparent Design for Nothing Phone (2) Charging Cable

Mark your calendars for July 11 because the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2) is about to hit the market, and tech enthusiasts are buzzing with anticipation.

After the success of its first-generation phone, Nothing has everyone curious about what they have in store for the next version. While the company has kept the design details under wraps, recent teasers have given us a glimpse into what we can expect.

In a recent teaser by CEO Carl Pei, it was revealed that the charging cable for the Phone (2) will have a semi-transparent design, staying true to Nothing’s signature aesthetic. The sleek and stylish cable has captured attention, but what about the charger itself? Considering the first smartphone didn’t include one, it’s likely that customers will need to purchase a separate charger. However, they can also opt to use any compatible charger they already own.

While official information about charging support is still pending, we do know that the Nothing Phone (2) will come with a powerful 4,700mAh battery, an upgrade from its predecessor’s 4,500mAh unit. The Phone (1) supported 33W fast charging, and Nothing is currently selling a 45W charging brick on Flipkart. The price of the adapter on the popular e-commerce platform is Rs 2,442.

As for the design, Nothing has been teasing minor changes at the back of the Phone (2). A brief video clip suggests that the handset will maintain its semi-transparent back panel design but will feature a new light setup. The LED strip and wireless charging coil appear to be divided into multiple parts, offering users enhanced customization options for different lighting effects. CEO Carl Pei has promised more customization options for the Glyph interface, further fueling excitement.
