If you love music, Shazam is probably already downloaded on your phone. You presumably use it frequently to find music that is being played nearby. Because Shazam saves your history, you can always go back and listen to your tracks.

The ability to use Shazam with streaming apps like Apple Music and Spotify, where you already listen to all of your favorite music, is an additional great advantage of having Shazam.

Here’s how to connect Shazam to Spotify:

  • On your phone, open Shazam.
  • Swipe up to display the Settings icon on an iPad or iPhone. Swipe left to access the Library on Android’s home screen.
  • In the upper-left corner of the screen, tap Settings.
  • Now tap Connect next to Spotify.
  • When you connect to Spotify when Shazam is already linked to Apple Music, a pop-up notification notifies you that doing so would cut off Shazam’s access to Apple Music.
  • Tap the Spotify Connect button.
  •  select Open
  • You will now be prompted by Shazam to grant it permission to access Spotify on your behalf. Click Agree after reading the terms.

How to link your Shazams to Spotify is as follows:

  • After creating a connection with Spotify, Shazam will prompt you to sync with a pop-up message. Input the OK key. After connecting the two apps, try opening one of your Shazams if you don’t get the prompt right away.
  • The Spotify application has now generated the “My Shazam Tracks” playlist.

How to use Spotify to listen to your Shazams

You may find your Shazam playlist on Spotify by doing the following after you’ve connected to Spotify and synced Shazam.

  • Get Spotify on your phone and launch it.
  • At the very bottom of the screen, tap Your Library.
  • In the top-left corner of the screen, select Playlists.
  • Tap the My Shazam Tracks playlist after scrolling down.

Even if you’re using Spotify’s free version, this ought to work.
