Infinix has made the Smart 8 official, it’s the successor to the Smart 7 announced earlier this year. It brings several upgrades including an-iPhone like dynamic island.
The first thing you notice with the Smart 8 is the Dynamic Island-like notch on the screen which will alert the user with device status updates and charging information. The screen is a 6.6 inch IPS LCD panel with 90hz refresh rate.

Infinix went with the Unisoc T606 chipset alongside 3GB RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable via the microSD card slot. The Smart 8 runs on Android 13 with Infinix XOS 13 on top. DTS sound technology has been baked into the device and Infinix claims it is capable of boosting volume up to200%.
The back houses a 13MP main cam (f/1.8) next to a small depth sensor and a ring-LED flash. The front hosts the 8MP selfie camera.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging speed. The Smart 8 comes in Timber Black, Galaxy White, Crystal Green and Shiny Gold colors.
The Infinix Smart 8 is priced at $105 and is already on sale in some markets like Nigeria.
