Vivo V29 5G gets announced, has massive 50MP selfie and premium curved display

Vivo has released the new V29 5G it brings several enhancements over the predecessor the V27 especially in photography, a signature feature of the V series.

The vivo V29 5G brings forth significant enhancements to its Smart Aura Light Portrait which now has Smart Color Temperature Adjustment on the rear camera with the ability to capture better images in  low-light scenarios like in dim-lit restaurants and night life environments. There’s also the newly introduced Astro Mode and Super Moon Mode which enable the V29 5G to capture astronomical and lunar photography.

These features are built into a rear facing 50MP OIS Night camera coupled with an 8MP wide angle camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. At the front, there’s a massive 50 MP selfie camera with auto focus.

The V29 5G smartphone features 120 Hz fast refresh 3D Curved Screen with minimized bezels delivering a premium look while also ensuring max real estate to enjoy content. The screen measures 6.78 inches, with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 on an AMOLED panel.

Powering the Vivo V29 5G is a Snapdragon 778G, with a base RAM of 8GB that goes up to 12GB and a storage capacity choices of 128GB or 256GB. There’s a 4600mAh battery with 80W fast charging that fills up from 1% to 50% in a mere 18 minutes.

Vivo did not announce the price, however, the company stated that the V29 5G is set to launch on 13th November 2023 on the Kenyan market.
