Tecno just made the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ official. It’s now the top tier device on the Spark 20 series.
The first thing you notice is the curved 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 1,000-nit peak brightness, 2,160 Hz PWM dimming, an embedded fingerprint sensor, and 1,080×2,436 resolution.
The curved display is a feature usually reserved for flagship devices, it’s a great move for Tecno bringing it to its affordable Spark series.
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
That performance package is capable of handling a 108 MP main rear camera with a f/1.75 aperture, 3x in-sensor zoom and a dual LED flash, there’s also a 32 MP selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture and a dual LED flash of its own.
Android 14, the current latest version, will be running the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+. There’s also “Dynamic Port”, Tecno’s interpretation of Apple’s Dynamic Island. It is a dynamic interactive space for live notifications such as call time information, charging status, stopwatch, live feed, and sound recording.
The phone measures 164.65 x 75.04 x 7.55 mm which Tecno was able to fit a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging.
There will be four colors available, Temporal Orbits, Lunar Frost, Radiant Starstream, and Magic Skin 2.0 Green. The last one has a faux leather back, while the rest all seem to be textured glass.
Tecno is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details.
