Glovo is searching for bright Kenyan minds to join their Africa Graduate Program, a stepping stone for future leaders in the on-demand delivery industry.

This initiative expands beyond Kenya, aiming to cultivate talent across the continent.

The program offers a rigorous 1-year journey through key areas like operations, quick-commerce, partnerships, finance, and marketing. Participants gain hands-on experience in various roles, developing a diverse skillset.

“We’re passionate about unlocking Africa’s potential by investing in its youth,” says Rasheeda Sedhosime, Head of People Africa at Glovo. “This program empowers young talent to shape the future of our industry.”

The firm’s new graduate program aims to address the nation’s growing skills gap, which leaves many young people unemployed despite having degrees.

Government officials have acknowledged this issue, stating that companies often need to retrain new hires upon recruitment.

The state department for Trade and Investments Principal Secretary, Juma Mukhwana said,”Industries have noticed a skill gap among graduates they recruit.”

This program hopes to equip graduates with relevant skills so they can contribute immediately and contribute to the job market.
