Following the launch of the Tecno Pova 6 Pro, which premiered at MWC and has recently become available in India, the Tecno Pova 6 series expands with the introduction of two new models – the standard Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo.
Both devices feature spacious 6.78-inch FHD+ displays with a 120 Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals. However, while the Pova 6 is equipped with an AMOLED panel, the Pova 6 Neo opts for an IPS LCD screen. Additionally, both phones share the same MediaTek G99 Ultimate chipset, incorporate Dolby Atmos technology, and boast designs inspired by gaming aesthetics.
In terms of camera capabilities and battery life, there are some distinctions between the Pova 6 and Pova 6 Neo. The Pova 6 boasts more advanced cameras, including a 108MP main sensor with 0.7μm pixels, along with a 32MP front-facing camera featuring dual-tone LED flash sensors. Moreover, it is powered by a massive 6,000 mAh battery with support for 70W fast charging. On the other hand, the Pova 6 Neo features a 50MP primary shooter and an 8MP front-facing camera, complemented by a remarkable 7,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities. Both devices run on HiOS 14 based on Android 14.
Storage configurations vary between the two models, with the Pova 6 offered in 8/256GB and 12/256GB variants, while the Pova 6 Neo will be available in 8/128GB and 8/256GB options. Both devices come with a range of connectivity features such as a USB-C port, Dual 4G VoLTE, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Tecno Pova 6 will be offered in Comet Green, Meteorite Grey, and Interstellar Blue color options, while the Pova 6 Neo will come in Starry Silver, Comet Black, and Comet Green. Pricing and availability details have not been disclosed by Tecno yet, but further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
