Samsung announced the global launch of its latest foldable smartphones — the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 — along with the Galaxy Watch8 series. The new devices highlight thinner, lighter designs and expanded use of Galaxy AI, which powers real-time assistance, health tracking, and productivity features.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 features a large foldable display with a 200MP high-resolution camera and AI tools optimized for multitasking. Users can edit photos with Generative Edit, which automatically detects and removes background distractions, and interact with Gemini Live by sharing images or on-screen content during conversations. The Z Fold7 starts at $1,999.99 and is available in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jetblack, and an online-exclusive Mint.
The Galaxy Z Flip7, starting at $1,099.99, offers a compact design with an edge-to-edge FlexWindow for quick access to apps and notifications without opening the device. It introduces real-time filters for selfies, creative FlexCam features, and a new Portrait Studio mode for pets. A lower-cost model, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, is priced at $899.99.
The Galaxy Watch8 series adds continuous health monitoring, including Samsung’s new Antioxidant Index, which measures carotenoid levels in five seconds. The watches feature a redesigned cushion fit for comfort and enhanced sensors for precise tracking of sleep, stress, activity, and nutrition. Pricing starts at $349.99 for Galaxy Watch8, $499.99 for Watch8 Classic, and $649.99 for Watch Ultra.
Samsung has also expanded access through Galaxy Experience Spaces in cities including New York, London, Paris, Dubai, and Seoul, where visitors can test devices and learn about AI features. Customers can purchase the devices beginning July 25 at Samsung.com and retail partners. Samsung is offering trade-in incentives of up to $1,000 off the Galaxy Z Fold7, $600 off the Z Flip7, and $500 off the Z Flip7 FE.
The new foldables and smartwatches extend Samsung’s strategy to integrate AI across its product line, blending portability, performance, and connected services within the Galaxy ecosystem.
