Vertical Tabs is a new feature introduced in the Microsoft Edge web browser that allows users to view the list of open or running tabs in a vertical format on the left side of the screen. When the user turns the Vertical Tabs feature on, Microsoft Edge moves the tab bar from the top title bar to the left sidebar. That’s why this feature is also known as Side Tabs.If you’re never going to use the Vertical Tabs feature, it can be annoying to see the button in the tab bar.

Hide the ‘Enable vertical tabs’ button on the Edge:

From the upper right corner of Microsoft Edge, press the three-point button.

Choose the “Settings” option.

Just choose “Appearance” option on the sidebar.

Toggle the “Show Vertical Tabs Button” option from the “Customize Toolbar” section.

The Vertical Tabs button will now disappear and you’ll get back the old Microsoft Edge tab layout.
