Google reminds us that the range will continue to evolve following the recent introduction of the Nest Doorbell on batteries.
It’s also the wired Nest Doorbell, which sees its next-generation codified while pointing out a function that’s missing.
A video timeline for the year 2022
If there’s one feature missing from the current Nest Doorbell, it’s the ability to register 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This capability is available on competitor cameras and doorbells, but Google has yet to implement it on its Doorbell product line. This is understandable regarding autonomy for the battery version; nevertheless, the community has expressed some dissatisfaction with the wired version.

We are excited to announce that we will launch a second-generation Nest Doorbell (wired) in 2022.

So far, we don’t know what the wired Nest Doorbell will look like when it launches in 2022, but this functionality is sure to please the community.
