Airtel Money has announced a significant revision in its transfer and withdrawal transaction charges, effective from today, the 25th of October 2023.
This strategic move by Airtel Money underscores its commitment to providing cost-effective solutions for its customers as they conduct mobile transactions across various platforms.
“Airtel Money’s commitment to affordability and ease of use is evident in this latest update, with a particular highlight being the continued provision of free transfers when sending money from one Airtel number to another,” the telco noted.
Additionally, the company pledges to maintain highly competitive withdrawal fees and costs for transferring money to other networks when compared to the current market rates.
Airtel Money Kenya’s Managing Director, Anne Kinuthia-Otieno, expressed the company’s dedication to its customers, stating, “We have reviewed our Airtel Money transaction fees to enable our customers to continue enjoying affordable prices while transacting through their mobile money wallets.”
“Beyond revising its transaction charges, Airtel Money is actively expanding its agent network throughout Kenya, ensuring that more customers have access to these services.”
