MTN South Africa Appoints Debbie Minnar As Senoir ICT Executive

MTN South Africa has appointed Debbie Minnar, a former executive at IBM as the General Manager for products and services within its enterprise business unit.
Minnaar will be responsible for determining MTN’s ICT offering to enterprise customers across the MTN business footprint in Africa and the Middle East.
Mteto Nyati, MTN Group chief enterprise officer said to adequately support the company’s customers with their ICT requirements, MTN needs to offer them relevant solutions that don’t only enable their businesses, but inspire their growth as well.

“I believe that in Debbie, we have someone with a clear understanding of what is required to achieve that. She has the relevant experience, calibre of talent and skill set to give MTN Business and our customers the edge,” said Nyati.

Minnaar established IBM subsidiaries in 35 new territories across Africa and the Middle East, and co-developed a Growth Markets Strategy for China, India, Brazil, the Middle East and Africa.
