Twitter yesterday unveiled group direct messaging and a video sharing to allow users share experiences in small groups or as well as in video formart.Users don’t have to follow eachother to participate in a group DM but notifications are send to one’s account each time they are invited into a group chat.The new services aim to help Twitter take on services such as Facebook and Facebook owned Instagram which have become popularvideo sharing platforms. Videos will also help the firm garner in more in brand advertising among others. Twitter earlier bought Vine which has been helping users share videos independently.
