The Infinix Hot 5 was launched in Kenya yesterday (August 28) in partnership with Kilimall. The device was the most anticipated device due to the promising rumours and teasers of the product prior to launch.
Let’s have a peek at the major features before moving on to the full specifications.
DESIGN & DISPLAY
The Infinix Hot 5 has a roughly textured back with a conspicuous, not-too-big fingerprint scanner. Just the perfect size for the fingers. The roughly textured back ensures a firm grip of the device and further adds to the device aesthetic. The Infinix Hot 5 is available in 5 colours; Green, Grey, Champagne Gold, Red and Black.
On the front is a large 5.5 inch. The screen is an In-Plane switching (IPS) HD screen that provides the best visual experience when watching movies or reading books. At the top and bottom of the screen is an individual speaker with Dirac Widening Stereo audio technology for optimum sound and effects.
The snappers on the Hot 5 smartphone are decent enough. There’s an 8 megapixels camera at the top right corner on the rear.
The secondary camera is a 5 megapixels camera selfie lens and like the primary camera, it enjoys a soft flash support for bright images both in high and low light conditions.
PROCESSOR & STORAGE
The Infinix Hot 5 runs on a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor. The device comes with 2GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and 16 GB of ROM for file storage.
A king-sized 4,000 mAh Li – Ion non-removable battery that gives up to 35 hours of talk time. The Hot 5 also features the fast charge technology that gives you hours of usage on little minutes charge.
The Infinix Hot 5 is quite affordable considering its unique specs. The device costs Ksh. 10,200 on Kilimall.
