Levono Launches The Very First African Android Statue Called Zuzu

The journey to make the first African Android statue has bore fruit, Levono has introduced ‘Zuzu’, the very first African Android statue.

After the social media competition which received more than 5300 entries acroos Africa, the Zuzi idea was introduced.

The electronic company said that the Zuzu is celebration of the launch of its Yoga tablet as well as the most recent tablets on the continent.

“We are thrilled to be the first to create an Android statue dedicated to the continent. The campaign received great interest from the public who were excited to name Africa’s first Android statue” said Lenovo Africa general manager Graham Braum said. “This has been a great year for Lenovo Africa with record PC market shares in South Africa of 17.1% in Q3. Africa remains a very important growth region for Lenovo and we are committed to expanding our presence, continuously investing resources, technology and partners in the continent and achieving higher market shares.”

Lenovo has also launched its Yoga Tablet to the South African market. The tablet features three modes – hold, tilt and stand. Additionally, it has up to 18 hours of battery life.
