LG Electronics has unveiled the LG Optimus G Pro 2, a phablet, which the successor of the LG Optimus G Pro which was announced last year.
This smartphone may be Samsung’s Note 3 competitor, as it comes with a 5.9-inch 1080p LCD panel screen and has a 13MP rear camera with OIS+ , which adds software anti-shake functionality to the hardware-based features already built into the camer module; and front camera of 2.1MP.
The sensors and lens of the rear and front camera on the G Pro 2 have increased in both size and sensitivity.
In specs, the phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (2.26 GHz Quad-Core) chipset and Qualcomm Technologies Adreno 330 GPU. It carries a 3GB DDR3 RAM / 16GB/32GB eMMC ROM / that can be expanded, a removable battery of 3,200mAh and operating of Android KitKat (4.4).
The LG Pro 2 weighs 172g and measures 157.9 x 81.9 x 8.3mm and comes in either red, white or Titan in colors
The LG G Pro 2 will be available in either LTE or LTE-A and it will be showcased later this month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It not known when it will strat selling outside the Korean market.
