Dubbed Tigo Business, the unit will launch the business to business services in the third quarter of 2014, run them on its mobile network to give firms in Tanzania the high capacity and the high-speed connectivity they require.
Tigo is also exploring the potential for deploying cable services to consumers in relevant urban areas and expects a pilot service to be underway later in 2014.
