TalkTalk Launches New Suite of African TV channels With Shows from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana & Uganda

urlUK’s TalkTalk, a pay television, telecommunications, internet access, and mobile network services firm to businesses and consumers has expanded the reach of its YouView service with new content from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Uganda.
The firm has announced it wi’s customers will have access to eight new channels dubbed the African TV Boost with local content from the above African countries.
The launch comes after the growth of TalkTalk TV’s world TV packages for its Bollywood, Arabic, Afrikaans and Japanese audiences with news, movies, fashion and talk shows for just £10 a month. TalkTalk is working with Thema to make the service possible. 
Dubbed the ‘African TV Boost’ the new channels include Kenya’s Citizen TV, Uganda’s Bukedde and Nigeria’s  and Ghana’s EbonyLife TV, Soundcity, Channels, Silverbird, Nollywood and Metro TV.

According to Tristia Harrison, MD for consumer at TalkTalk: “We’re pleased to be extending our partnership with Thema to be able to offer TalkTalk homes a wealth of fantastic family entertainment from across the world”.
