Rocket Internet’s Jovago Brings the World Cup to Lagos, Sort Of

PriveLounge_CollageAfrica Internet Holding’s (AIH), Jovago, an online hotel booking platform has partnered with the Prive Lounge, an upscale lounge in Victoria Island, Lagos to allow its customers who won’t make it Brazil to watch the world cup live at 5b Karimu Kotun street Victoria Island, Lagos.

  The firm also aims to give users more than just football, with freebies including 25% hotel booking discount vouchers, free cocktails, free snacks, a Jovago goodie bag and much more as they watch the live matches on big screens and amazing ambiance.

“Football is a very important part of the Nigerian culture and at Jovago.com, we are very focused on promoting the Nigerian culture” says Marek Zmyslowski, Managing Director of Jovago.com in a statement. “The lounge is not only intended to serve as a venue for people to watch the matches but will also provide a channel for people to interact and network with celebrities and other captains of industry.”
