According to Oyeyemi, the new low-priced MTN [email protected] Mini S620 smartphone consists of 3.5″ screen, which runs on Android 4.2 OS with preloaded applications including Jumia, Music+, BBM, Facebook and Whatsapp in addition to free MTN SIM card. The smartphone also has a 4-Gigabyte in-built memory up scalable to 32 Gigabyte, a processor speed of 1GHz and a dual SIM slot.
“For customers who need higher processing screen and wider display screen, the MTN [email protected] S720i provides a 1.3GHz processor and 4.0″ display. With the smartphones’ launch, Nigerians will get the chance to chat with family and friends using various instant messaging and communication platforms including Badoo, Whatsapp, BBM, Facebook Messenger, LinkedIn, Skype and Tango as well as enjoy a million games and apps,” explained Oyeyemi.
Speaking at the launch, Oyeyemi stated that the smartphone is a long-awaited revolution within the Nigerian market as well as a game changer.
