meQasa.com, the easiest way to rent, buy and sell property in Ghana is presenting Design Accra, an expert panel discussion exploring new visions in home design featuring industry leaders who are transforming the design landscape in Accra including Hamoude Quartey, international architect and project manager of Olma Colonial Residences, Jeffrey Adu, Business Development manager at DevTraco, and Leslie Ado, publisher of Epicurean magazine, Ghana’s first real estate/lifestyle publication.
A cocktail reception will immediately follow to celebrate meQasa’s recent partnership with Ghana Real Estate Professionals’ Association (GREPA).
“meQasa is primarily a technology company, so we are constantly seeking ways to utilise technology to innovate the real estate industry in Ghana and throughout Africa. We are excited to present Design Accra and celebrate new visions in home design in Ghana as well as our new collaboration with GREPA to develop a centralised database for real estate professionals throughout the country,” says Kelvin Nyame, CEO of meQasa who launched the company after completing a two year intensive program at Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) which provides training, investment and incubation to aspiring tech entrepreneurs, with the goal of creating globally successful companies that create wealth and jobs locally in Africa.
“From the listings on meQasa.com, we have begun to see a shift in the market towards properties that focus on luxury and modern design. As a company that is on the pulse of real estate trends in Ghana, with Design Accra, the meQasa team wanted to explore the impact new design is having on the industry and get insight from some of those that are effecting change,” says Rashad Seini, meQasa’s Business Development Manager.
meQasa’s vision to innovate Ghana’s real estate industry with technology includes in collaboration with GREPA, the development of a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) platform which is essentially a centralised database that provides a system of cooperation among real estate professionals and a consolidated property information database which currently does not exist in Ghana.
meQasa’s comprehensive real estate listings are also featured on partner media sites such as Viasat1, 233Prime, ameyawdebrah.com, Ghanagist.com, WorldGhana.com, spyghana.com, and OMGGhana.com.
