Technology entrepreneurship program and competition for young women Technovation is calling for applications for its program that will have women drawn from 28 counties work together in its three months tech programme.
The programme which is supported by tech giants such as Twitter, Google, MIT Media Lab and Andreessen Horowitz will admit girls from the 10-18 years.
During the programme, girls will form teams and come up with mobile apps and subsequently pitch to judges and winning teams will share US$20 000 and go on to pitch in San Francisco front of a world stage.
Last year, more than 600 girls participated and so far 3000 girls have participated in the event.
Deadline registration is 15 February.
