KQ Cargo has yet again retained its feather on it cap as the freight division of Kenya Airways is now won the African Cargo Airline of the Year winning the award for the send time, at the 3rd biennial Air Cargo Africa event.
The division whose mandate is to transport various cargo across the Kenya Airways network operates in 20 countries across three continents.

African cargo services were fastest growing in 2014, registering approximately 6.1 percent ahead of Asia/ Pacific and Europe regions according the aircargoworld.com. There has been continued demand for air cargo services across the world and IATA predicts traffic growth in 2015.
The African continent remains a key market for KQ Cargo with a huge trading potential especially with Kenya Airways’ expansive Asian network. Kenya Airways new route to Hanoi in Vietnam is expected to buoy the cargo traffic as the airline becomes the first to connect Africa to the Asian tiger nation.
