stella instagramNollywood VOD service, iRokotv.com has today announced a movie download feature to allow subscribers get their movies to watch them later offline.

The firm annouced, “Movie downloads have arrived. You can now download and watch movies offline. Simply download the desktop player and watch later…for FREE (no charges beyond the standard subscription)!”

This will allow users to either stream or download their favorites movies like 30 Days in Atlanta, Love Regardless, Family Album, Festac Town, Poisoned Bait, Losing Control and many more and them watch them offline wherever they are whether in Nigeria or across all English-speaking African countries.

Apart from Nollywood, subscribers can also download their favorite Telenovelas – La Patrona & Una Maid en Manhattan , Bollywood – 36 China Town & Yaadein, Korean Dramas – Heirs & To The Beautiful You and even many Hollywood movies.

“Download the movies at home, at school or at work. Any internet connection will do! Watch while you’re stuck in traffic, bored standing in line or chilling on your sofa at home. Simple as that! Your movie now goes everywhere with you,” the firm announced.

This new service will make iROKOtv unique from the spreading VOD services across Africa. The firm has also been lately working with telcos to make its service available to more.
