    Spoiler alert; I have already used the phone, so this unboxing will not have the glossy wrappers and instruction manual. Fast forward, Fero Royale X1 is an ideal budget smartphone which was launched a few weeks ago in Kenya by Midcom. The phone’s selling point is the massive battery capacity and the price – Ksh13,999; but on a general scale it comes with some of the best features. Now, let’s unpack the device.

    First impression

    The phone has a metallic design and a 5 inch display which is very fashionable. The 5 inch display makes it look a little big just like Samsung’s phablets, but the phone is surprisingly light and smooth to the touch.
