Tecno Mobile finally launches the Tecno Spark series with the Tecno Spark now available for purchase in Kenya.
Earlier this month (August 2017), Tecno Mobile unveiled the Spark series with two smartphones as members – the Tecno Spark K7 and Tecno K9 (also called the Spark Plus). The device was scheduled to launch on the 21st of August but due to reasons best known to the parties in charge of releasing the device, the release was moved up to the 26th of August – today.
The Tecno Spark (Tecno K7) is now live on Kenya’s top e-commerce mall, Kilimall and is presently selling at a very affordable price – Ksh. 9,999. That’s not all. To apologize to the people for the change in release date of the device, Kilimall will be gifting buyers of the Tecno Spark a free selfie stick and a finger holder.
However, the gift is on a first come, first serve basis. Only the first 100 buyers will get the Selfie stick and finger holder as a bonus. So hurry! Time is no man’s friend.
The Tecno Spark comes with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a decent (or should I say standard 720 x 1280 pixels resolution). The device has 1 GB of RAM and is accompanied by a built-in storage of 16 GB. On the rear is a fingerprint scanner and above, a 13 megapixels camera and a LED flash.
Buyers have the Phantom Black, Metallic Red, Champagne Gold, and Coral Blue colour varieties to choose. All colour variants come with the same specifications and cost the same amount.
Other features of the Tecno Spark include the Android v7.0 Nougat OS, Quad core processor, 5 megapixels selfie camera and a non-removable 3,000 mAh Lithium Ion battery.
